Cost of typical apartments in Riga decreased on 6,5% 9.12.2008
On November of current year the cost of typical apartments in Riga decreased on 6,5% in comparison with October - 1160 euro per 10 sq. ft. to 1085 euro.
In average the cost of one bedroom apartment fell on November on 3,8% in comparison with October , to 1120 euro per 10 sq. ft. Two bedrooms apartments became cheaper to 1080 euro per 10 sq. ft., three bedrooms to 1065 euro per 10 sq. ft. Apartments with big square are not popular – four bedrooms apartment cheaper to 1000 euro per 10 sq. ft.
Apartments in new projects in regions of Riga on November an average cost without finishing is 1100 euro per 10 sq. ft., with finishing is 1350 euro per 10 sq. ft.
Prices for apartments in new buildings in the downtown are from 1400 euro per 10 sq. ft. to 2500 euro per 10 sq. ft. The cost of apartments in the new projects in the center of Riga fell to 2000 euro per 10 sq. ft., in average to 1750 euro per 10 sq. ft.
